Simple yet Healthy Pulao full of vegetables...

🧺 Ingredients

  • Rice (Basmati Rice)1 Cup
  • 4 TBSPN Oil
  • Bay Leaf1 No
  • 6 to 7 No Cloves
  • 1 to 2 Inches Cinnamon Stick
  • To Taste Salt
  • Pinch Turmeric Powder
  • 1 Tspn Garam Masala
  • 1/2 Tspn Green Chilly Paste
  • 1/2 Tspn Garlic Paste
  • Potatoes (Sliced)1 No
  • Red Onion (Sliced)1 No
  • Green Bell pepper (Sliced)1/2 No
  • Green Peas (Blanched)1/2 Cup
  • As required Water

👨‍🍳 Method — step by step

Cooking Rice: In a bowl wash the rice and soak for minimum half hour.

Cooking Rice: In a deep pan boil the water and add soaked rice, salt and 2 Tbspn oil.

Cook rice for sometime and than drain the excess water and pour cold water on the rice.

Now rice is ready.

In another pan heat oil. Add Bay leaf, cloves, cinnamon stick. Sauté them.

Now add green chilly paste, garlic paste and sauté for a while.

Add potatoes and sauté till they become soft.

Add onions into it. And sauté till they get pink.

Add Capsicum and sauté for a while.

Now add green peas. Sauté them.

Add garam Masala, salt, turmeric powder into it. Mix well.

Add cooked rice to it. Mix well but gently.

Pulao is ready. Serve hot...
