Cottage Cheese And Peas Tikki
Cottage Cheese and Peas tikkies are best for small gatherings , party, kids lunch box, and small hunger.
🧺 Ingredients
- Potatoes (Medium and boiled)2 Nos.
- Green Peas (Boiled)1 Cup
- 100gms Cottage Cheese (Gratted)
- To Taste Salt
- 1 Tspn Black Pepper (Crushed)
- 1 Tbspn Coriander Leaves (Chopped)
- 1 Tspn Lemon Juice
- 1 Tbspn Green Chilly Paste
- Bread crumbs (Fresh)1 Cup
- 3 Tbspn Corn Flour
- As required Water (To Make Slurry)
- To Shallow Fry Oil
👨🍳 Method — step by step
In a mixing bowl, add potatoes, green peas and Cottage cheese. Mix them well.
Add salt, pepper powder, lemon juice and coriander leaves. Mix well.
If the consistency of the mixture is not like a dough than add some bread crumbs to it.
now the consistency should be like a soft dough so that we can make tikkies from it.
Make round shaped tikkies from mixture.
In another mixing bowl, take corn flour and add water to it and make slurry.
Dip the tikkies in the slurry and than Coat with the bread crumbs. Now again dip the tikkies in slurry and than coat it with bread crumbs. Double coating is required to make the layer crunchy.
Repeat this with all the tikkies.
Now in a pan heat oil, on a slow or medium flame put all the tikkies in oil and shallow fry them with both the sides until they turn brown.
Tikkies are ready to serve !!
I served with red and green mayo...
