Papad TOKRI
Some simple twist in regular masala papad... A mexican filling in indian style Papad Tokri... Perfect for Small small hunger...
🧺 Ingredients
- Papad (Readily available RAW Papad.)2 Nos
- 1/2 Bowl Red Onion (Finely Chopped)
- 1/2 Bowl Tomatoes (Finely Chopped)
- 8-10 Nos Black Olives (Finely Chopped)
- Green Chillies (Small Finely chopped.)2 Nos
- Paneer Cubes1/2 Cups
- 2 TBSPN Hung Curd
- 3 Tspn Oregano
- 2 Tspn Red Chilly Flakes
- 2 Tspn Olive Oil
- To Taste Salt
- 2 Tspn Lemon Juice (You can also use white Vinegar instead of lemon juice.)
- 3 TBSPN Coriander Leaves (Finely Chopped)
- 2 TBSPN Sour Cream
- 1 TBSPN Mint Mayonnaise
👨🍳 Method — step by step
To Prepare SALSA>>>
In a mixing bowl, take chopped onion, tomatoes, black olives and green chillies and chopped coriander leaves.
Season it with salt, lemon juice and mix it well. Add Olive oil to it and toast it again gently.
Salsa is ready. Keep it aside.
In another bowl, take paneer cubes add hung curd and coat them well.
Season it with Salt, oregano, chilly flakes and pinch of chaat masala (Optional). Mix it gently.
Keep it aside for 10 minutes.
Heat oil in a pan, Saute marinated paneer cubes on a high flame for a while. Switch off the flame and transfer it in another bowl.
Take water in a flat plate (Thali) and soak raw papad in it completely for 30 SECONDS till it is soft.
With help of paper napkin, soak all access water from it.
Take a Microwave SAFE bowl. Arrange soaked papad in that bowl like a tokri.
Put that bowl in microwave high for 1 minute.
Take papad tokri out of MW and let it cool completely.
Finally, assemble tokri...
In papad tokri, Put paneer cubes then spread a spoon full of sour cream.
Add salsa and again spread spoon of mint mayonnaise. Again put some paneer cubes and drops of sour cream till the tokri is full.
Serve it !!!
