Doughnuts are loved by everybody. Generally doughnuts are deep fried. But today I thought of making it healthy by making baked doughnuts. Also added mashed banana to add some extra nutrients.

👨‍🍳 Method — step by step

1

Put yeast, sugar, lukewarm water in a cup and let it sit for 10 minutes to activate the yeast.

2

In a big bowl, take maida, salt, active dry yeast mixture, Banana and now add butter and milk. Start making the dough. First it will be very sticky but afterwards it will be soft and elastic. Keep covered for 1 hour in any warm place of kitchen for rising.

3

After 1 hour take out the dough and knead again for 5 minutes.

4

With doughnut cutters cut doughnuts shape. Keep covered for another 30 minutes for 2nd rise.

5

Pre heat oven 180C for 10 minutes. Bake these doughnuts for 20 minutes.

6

The top will be light golden colour.

7

Take out and cool on a wire rack.

Heat the cream and pour over chopped chocolates and wait until all chocolates are melted. Now add the food colours and dip the doughnuts in it to get a marble effect.
